RadViz uses the concept of spring forces to perform clustering on
high-dimensional datasets. It maps a set of n-dimensional points onto a
two-dimensional space. It provides unique insight into the interactive
relationships among multiple attributes or parameters of the data.
Typical visualization tools can only show three to five attributes at a
time. With RadViz, one can display a dataset with a large number of
attributes (60, 100, or even 400) with a large number of records (1000,
10000, or even one million) at the same time.
