GenVis displays arbitrary linear strings of bases in DNA or proteins and calculates user definable statistical metrics based upon those string properties using a moving window approach. Results can be displayed in a 2-D plot with gene exon, intron and flanking DNA sequence positions displayed schematically above the metric graphical display as a function of string position.
