Alexander G. Gee
consult : information architect

Mr. Gee is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. He has been doing programming for over six years and is familiar with all the widely used software tools in data visualization, data mining, bioinformatics, computer graphics, artificial intelligence and database systems. He has completed numerous consulting projects, such as visualization and data mining of yeast expression profiles for the Genetics Institute, visualization and data mining of vehicle sales for General Motors, initial management of the visualization activities for the EPA EarthVision 2000 Project, and conceptual ideas for visualizing web site customer profiles for Accrue Software.

He also brings an artistic touch to his scientific work exploring human-computer interaction - how to enhance the human data-exploration process by the active integration of computers.

Mr. Gee has an A.A. in architecture with high honors for his design work from Saint Petersburg Junior College. He received his B.S. in Mathematics with honors from Northern Arizona University in 1994, and his M.S. in Computer Science from University of Massachusetts Lowell in 1996.
