Dr. Frank Hurley was a co-founder of Biometric Research Institute (later known as BRI
International) where he held a position of Chairman and Chief Scientific Officer until
BRI's merger with Quintiles Transnational Corporation (NasdaqNM:QTRN). He served as
Quintiles Chief Scientific Officer and currently is holding a position of Senior
Scientist. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at
Georgetown University.
Dr. Hurley's areas of expertise include the study design, analysis and reporting to the
FDA of clinical trials involving pharmaceuticals, medical devices and diagnostic
products. He has a keen understanding of all phases of the regulatory approval process,
including multinational clinical studies, clinical trials management and post marketing
surveillance. He is a nationally recognized authority on research strategy and study
design for regulatory approval.
Dr. Hurley received his BS in Mathematics from Georgetown University and his Ph.D. in
Biostatistics from John Hopkins University.
